About the Workshop Overdose continues to be a leading cause of preventable death in Manitoba and across Canada. This practical, skills-based training equips participants with the knowledge and tools to prevent, recognize, and respond to overdoses in their communities and workplaces. This session is designed to build confidence and capacity in responding effectively to an overdose situation, while centering harm reduction, dignity, and care.

Workplace leaders and staff
Anyone interested in learning how to respond to an overdose and save lives
Learning Objectives Participants will:
Understand the current landscape of overdose in Manitoba
Learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of overdose Build practical skills in overdose response, including administering naloxone Increase confidence in responding to real-life situations
Explore strategies for prevention, harm reduction, and support after an overdose
Fees Individual registration: FREE
