Human trafficking is an issue the Canadian corporate sector has the ability and responsibility to address. Presented by the Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking and EmpowerMen, the upcoming webinar The Corporate Call to Action - Forging a future free of human trafficking within the private sector will explore how trailblazing business leaders are confronting this crucial issue.
Participants will join leaders from the financial, hospitality and extractive sectors to learn about how human trafficking touches different sectors and industries, and how they took action to inspire transformational change towards ultimately ending all forms of human trafficking in Canada.
The session will equip corporate leaders with actionable approaches to move beyond mere awareness toward meaningful prevention, responsible business practices, and cross-sector collaboration.

Susannah Pierce is the founder of the Human Trafficking Prevention Network of British Columbia and the Consul General of Canada in New York. An accomplished business leader with more than two decades of experience, she previously held senior leadership roles with LNG Canada and Shell Canada. Her work brings together business, government, Indigenous communities, law enforcement, and non-profits to advance human trafficking prevention, responsible business practices, and cross-sector collaboration. Susannah has received the Order of British Columbia, King Charles III Coronation Medal, and Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
Jennifer Fiddian-Green leads Doane Grant Thornton LLP’s Forensic Advisory practice. She has spent many years supporting efforts and raising awareness of fraud, corruption, money laundering, and human trafficking issues across the country. Jennifer has led investigations, reported on cases, and managed teams focused on financial crimes. She also works with clients to strengthen governance structures to support ethical business practices, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. Jennifer is honoured to serve as the Centre’s board chair and to collaborate on our shared goal to end human trafficking.
Irwin Prince is the president and chief operating officer of Realstar Hospitality, the franchisor of Days Inn, Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands in Canada. As a former Chair of the Hotel Association of Canada and one of the Board's longest-serving members, Prince is an active participant in all industry-related activities. He has participated in several hospitality panels as a recognized industry expert. Prince holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Toronto.

Julia Drydyk brings more than two decades of experience in community engagement, research, public policy, and advocacy to her role as Executive Director of the Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking. Julia champions collective action, cultivating spaces for connection, shared learning, and capacity building. Under her leadership, the Centre is a catalyst for cross-sector partnerships, uniting survivors, governments, non-profits, and private sector leaders in the fight to end all forms of human trafficking. Her work is grounded in a deep belief in the power of inclusive dialogue and community-led change.
Hennes Doltze is the Project Leader of EmpowerMen, which is a part of Manitoba’s Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre. With a background in non-profit management and social work, he founded EmpowerMen in 2022 to engage men and boys to help confront sexual exploitation and sex trafficking, inviting them to become part of the solution rather than fueling the problem. EmpowerMen activates men and the wider community through youth workshops, community training, online engagement, public and sector-specific events, corporate relationship building, and research projects.
